Get in front of people already looking up
Everyone who lands here is searching for balloons near them, this month, by name. That is about as warm as traffic gets.
Listings
Every licensed operator is listed free, whether they pay us or not. Paying buys placement and features, never the right to be the only answer, and never a change to how events themselves are ranked.

Take bookings from your listing
If you sell flights through Pencilled, your listing shows live availability and a real booking button instead of a phone number and a wait. We take 750% of a completed booking: nothing on enquiries, nothing monthly, nothing at all if the seat doesn't sell.
Not on Pencilled? Your listing links straight to your own booking page and we count the clicks for you, free.
Why bookings, not leads
Lead fees get charged whether or not anyone flies, which is why every operator hates them. We'd rather be paid when you are.
Advertising
Directly-sold placements on the homepage, search results, event pages and guides, always labelled as advertising, always above the network fill. Regional targeting is included: an operator in Somerset doesn't pay for impressions in Yorkshire.
Event page sponsorship
Sole sponsor of a fiesta page for its season.
Alert email slot
One placement in a geo-targeted email people asked for.
Run of site
Leaderboard and in-results placements, weighted rotation.
What money doesn't buy
- Event listings and their ordering. Those are by date and distance, full stop.
- Removal of a competitor, or of an unflattering fact about a launch site.
- An unlabelled placement. Everything commercial on this site says so.
